My boyfriend and I paid a $550 reletting fee to move out of out apartment early without having to break our lease. The new manager charged us outraegous amounts for cleaning costs of our apartment. We cleaned the apartment very well I even shampooed the carpet my self!! The manager informed me that if it was not done profesional that then it doesnt count. We were also charged for 4 months of water bills that we allegedly didnt pay!! We contacted the Galveston County Apartment Association to dispute the charges, the manager (Maggie) turned us over a debt collector. Actually she turned myself over to them not my boyfriend who was infact on the lease also. I called the manager to confront her about all the charges and she spoke to me with a 8 year old vocabulary, raised her voice with me and then hung up on me!!! Very immature and unprofesional. I would not reccomend my worst enemy to live at Lakeview apartments!!!!!
