My family and I have lived at Tradwinds for over 10 years, by choice. When we first moved here the managers stayed 3-4 months on average is all. Now we have a manager who DOES care about the property AND the tenants. This is our home, if you don't like the rules then feel free to leave. And before you even start, we are not related to any of the employees and certainly not of the owners. There have been problems over the years with things breaking down (maint. is there within 24 hrs and are great if it's an emergency)but that's going to happen. Various tenants who don't like to hear the rules much less obey them; but they are politely asked to leave. As for the parking lot, don't know what that person is talking about because the parking lot was redone over a year ago! Our only complaint are the occassional noisy neighbors, their bratty kids and noisy dogs. The kids have no respect because they have not been taught it. I don't think management is supposed to be the babysitter - discipline your kids, teach them some manners and keep them in front of your own apartment to scream and their won't be a problem. Again, we've been here by choice all these years and have to say, if there is a concern, either go to the office or call them, they'll deal with it promptly. Yes the complex is old, however, these are some of the larger apartments per square foot in the area at a reasonable price. Think our only "complaint" would be the outside lighting could be upgraded and more added. Tradewind Apartments ARE a nice place to live. Please feel free to look at the complex and give it a try - you'll be glad you did
