Beware of all the teenagers

I live in phase one and have to complain about the teenage boys that continue to use the parking lot as their personal skate park. Only one of the kids live here but he invites 10 of his friends. All you here is the slamming of the skateboards and the constant yelling and cursing from them.
I've complained to the management serveral times and they said they would take care of it but never do as the kids are here every single weekend.
This is supposed to be an apartment community NOT a skate park for the local riff-raff.

| Dear Resident, We are aware that there are teenagers that are skate boarding in our community. The problem is that we are getting reports after the fact. Please call security on any noise complaints that you have. We have 5 security officers onsite. Someone is always on duty and on-call. Their number is 214-878-8514. Or you can call our main office number and go through the options list. We are very proactive on noise on property and we will address it. Most of the staff lives here and this is as important to us as it is to you! Thank you for your feedback. Please feel free to contact us in the office any time if you have concerns that you would like resolved. ~Austin Ranch | |

I witnessed about 8 boys and one girl last night crossing over Windhaven with an attitude from Cafe Gecko and then onward through the retail area on the south side of Windhaven. They do their tricks and manuevers through the retail airway which opens in to the parking lot behind Zen.
I would say the noise is nothing from what comes out of Zen between 2:00 - 3:00 AM Thursday through Sunday night. If you want to hear the latest in vulugarity and profane language, you should come experience all the fights, yelling, squeeling tires and domestic violence that takes place from the young drunken patrons they serve.

Oh how quickly management responds in electronic form on this site. They can take the time to claim to be aware of your issues and are "doing something about it" but why are so many people complaining they never get anything done? If you call the security number you have to first answer a list of questions, who you are, where you live, description of the problem, your contact info etc. Then they'll notify security and about 15 minutes later security arrives...but the problem you called about has probably moved on. One time I reported something, I never heard anything back...the occurrance happened again and I had gotten so sick of it I had to actually drive to the Colony police department to see any sort of response. Rent a cops here are worthless, actual cops patrolling aren't much better. Take note "management", if so many people are having issues, calling cops, etc...there is obviously a problem here and you cant control it. Every single post notes something and most of them calls the office mgmt out on it. 36% of the people reviewing here approve of this property...that tells you something. A majority that reviews this property don't recommend it, and the approving 36 were probably drunk when they wrote it. If the place was managed by adults that actually cared about residents or actually cared about their job, they might make a difference...not by just trying to defend themselves on a ratings forumn.

Sounds like the system is working to me.
I love the place and I am not a drunk or a deadbeat or a member of the Royal Family.

I love how they constantly skateboard through my hallway. My favorite, though, was when my car was broken into during broad daylight...the little punk was trying to get a cd out of MY car that he said his friend told him to get bc it was his. My roommate grabbed his skateboard and yanked him out of the car...PD was appropriatly called. Other than that there is hardly anything AR can do to limit this riff raff behavior...which of course, like you, I would love it if they could.

Ah, you jerk, that was MY teenager and you should have been arrested for assault. He didn't break in, you left your door wide open and walked away. He was trying to close it, not steal your crap.
The amount of baloney that goes on at AR is ridiculous, don't move there if you don't like dogs or are over the age of 25.
