AR can be a crazy place, but realize that it is kept near the major pools and retail. If you want typically want peace and quiet, choose a place on the backside of the property near the awesome nature reserve.
The quality of the apartments is great and maintenance was typically right on point. When I moved out they only charged me $15 or something for carpet cleaning.
The staff are a bit snobby and can be dumb as rocks though - but know that turnover is high and that you can also talk to a manager to get things done.

I agree, some of these complaints from others might be valid, but when you first walk into the leasing office, everyone working out is young and fit. Obviously a place of partying if by the pool. All of my neighbors are respectful and pleasant. And parking back here is never full for me, which is perfect for late night uptown partying.
