Make sure you come here prepared

I second that, Austin Ranch seems to attract a group of highly disrespectful young people who have no respect for the property and/or other residents. This is highly disconcerting and is most certainly due to the design of the entire complex. They didn t think that creating 2000 apartments and filling it with college age kids wouldn t turn it into a pseudo college dorm .
When I moved here a year ago I figured that due to the high leasing prices the community would feature young professionals who are not in college and who work professional jobs in the area; I expected some increase in noise and activity around the weekend.
However, I could never have been prepared for what I have seen here. These people get themselves disgusting drunk, drive around the complex as if it were a racing track, party till ridiculous hours of the morning EVERY night and have complete disrespect and total disregard of their surroundings and fellow residents.
I believe these problems are actually above Austin Ranch Management s control and are as a direct result of the global design of the complex. The only solution to this problem would be to impose a mandatory age limit of at least 25 on residents, Gate the community to prevent the local high school using it for field trips during the summer and erect speed ramps on the pavement to crack down on the idiots driving around. The entire set up is an accident waiting to happen, unfortunately it s only a matter of time before a toddler playing the street gets killed by some drunk adolescent who thinks its funny to drive 60mph down Sonoma way.
To the credit of the management, they do take noise complaints very seriously and I have seen several individuals evicted from the premises due to their lack of respect. However, to all other people who post on here, you must document and inform the management of your concerns as soon as they happen and call the police on offenders so there is a paper trail. I truly believe that Austin Ranch have no interest in keeping people like this living here and want to ensure a happy community but they can be counter sued for imposing evictions so need as much evidence as possible to prevent this and fight back.
I would recommend this place to live but only for individuals who are willing to accept the foolish people who live here who unfortunately make up the majority and not the minority. I also found the maintenance fairly good, all of my issues were fixed quickly, however don t bother reporting anything too complicated. I had a wiring problem that I reported but they didn t understand it so I gave up and fixed it myself.

Yes, All Red Secuirty is a joke. I have called them several times and I think they must be inhaling the fumes from Little Balls motorcycle. The next time I see him I think I will just call The Colony Police after he leaves Zen and have him arrested for DWI, that should take care of him and allow the rest of Austin Ranch to get some sleep.
I think the open throttle may allow some fumes to reach his deminishing brain cells so he can stay alive a little longer to let Austin Ranch know he is still around. Thats all I can think of. I wish the space cadet would move or Austin Ranch Management would do something about him.

Wow that sounds even worse!! Yeah I live on Sonoma Way two doors down from the guy with the Motorbike, he lives at 7095 Sonoma Way in a town home. I called the police on him Saturday night and the dispatcher told me they had already received several complaints already about him. He parks the bike on his driveway and opens the throttle to max and just lets it go for 2-3 minutes then repeats. It???s absolutely unbelievable how loud this motorcycle is. This person clearly has absolutely no respect for anyone in the surrounding area doing this at 4am in the morning! I spoke to the All Red security guy on Saturday night and unfortunately he wasn???t any help at all.
Please Austin Ranch management, shut this guy down!!!.

I too know of this guy with the bike. It's amazing that this guy thinks he's Jesse James from Orange County Choppers. I also lived on Sonoma Way and called the police.
