First and foremost I have to say that the security here at Austin Ranch is terrific! I always see them out and about and they are willing to give you an escort if you need one. I was unable to park close to my apartment and one of the security officers offered me an escort. I felt safe enough to walk to my apartment but to know that they are available for that makes me feel better. I know these guys work hard because I frequent the pools during the summer months and when they ask people to leave the pools at 10 most people seem to give them a hard time. My friends and I seem to be some of the few people that don't mind following the rules and leaving the pool at 10. Others just sit there and argue with the poor officers who keep a straight and professional attitude when dealing with these guys. I also like the fact that security checks our cards at the pool to verify that we live here and just remove the people that don't. The one thing that I wish would happen more at Austin Ranch is all of the activities that have seemed to disappear over the past 4 years that I have lived here. This place is very pet friendly and my neighbors are nice and quiet. I think that picking up after your pet should be enforced a little more. I have to watch out for it on our walks through the complex. All in all I am very satisfied with living here.

Thank you for your review. We are working on pet pick up situation. We've added one more porter on the weekends, we moved the pet stations to better locations, and we have animal control doing spots checks on our community monthly. Unfortunately they do ticket anyone who the see not picking up. Please if you have any concerns or suggestions. ~AR Management
