This is a review from a neighbor who recently moved out.

Plain and simple, do not expect to get any kind of service here. If you leave a message at the office...you won't get a call back. Lived here for 2 years and wanted to move to a specific apartment in the complex we found, however, our lease wasn't up for 14 days. Sure, they could hold it.....for $500! We asked if maybe they could work with us since we have been good tenants for over 2 years now....nope, you just have to hope that apartment isn't taken. And what do you know...4 days before we could technically have the apartment, someone rents it. What a joke. Beware they don't do a preventative spray for bugs (since half their apartments overlook Arbor Hills Preserve) and your apartment may have an infestation of fleas (ours when we moved in) or scorpions (neighbors all around us in Phase IV) Don't plan on getting any sleep with paper thin walls (lovely neighbors next door who leave their alarm clock on from 6am to 9:30am...no exaggeration). I always know when our upstairs neighbors are awake. I can hear everywhere they walk...it sounds like they are constantly running up there...it's actually amazing, really, that they haven't plummented through the ceiling..it sounds as if they could at any minute. So in conclusion, if you want a beautiful place to live..this is it, but beware...The Colony cops patroling constantly and passing out endless tickets for incomplete stops at the stop signs (while I've personally seen a man stealing from someones car and seeing the aftermath of our downstairs neighbors broken into apartment), shisty apartment structure quality. Such a HUGE complex, like Austin Ranch could not provide ANY kind of quality customer service.

I am very interested to see what kind of reply management has to put here. This is how they treat loyal tenants''' Ridiculous!

I have noticed that there is now THE COLONY POLICE on bicycle patrolling the complex now.

oooomg the darn colony police... i dont know how you had any crime hunny bc all the do is "protect and serve" and make sure you dont "roll" through a stop sign.... i can handle stopping COMPLETELY at every stop sign bc im a little bit peace at mind that they are always here.

the police are great at giving traffic ticket but nothing beyond that. oh and how many people have been killed there....3 if not more!

WOW, you had such a ruff time. Well, if you don't want a ticket then don't blow the stop signs. That is basic drivers education and maybe you do need a ticket if you can't follow the basics. Also when you saw a car get broke into did you call the police and report it, or did you turn a blind eye. I am jsut amazed i have never had the problems that you have had, and I have been at Austin Ranch a few good years now.

It was MY car that was broken into, and the police responded immediately. Also, I did not receive a ticket, I overlooked the stop sign and saw police just sitting there waiting for someone to do something wrong at the side street that isn't even an intersection at all, with a stop sign. Where did all of this anger come from? This place is called APARTMENT RATINGS or can you not understand the concept that some people will have negative things to say, while others will not.
