Pros:
-Amenities (fitness center, pools, etc.)
-Price (approx. $1/sq foot)
-Social Events
-Flowers

Cons:
-I rented site-unseen due to a quick move for a job transfer--I was told that I would receive upgraded appliances and did not on move-in day. At this point it was too late to choose another apt. in the complex. I was not able to receive a discount on rent after discussing problem with mgt. and was disappointed.
-Poor apt. quality - I live in Phase 3. I would have liked upgraded appliances/nicer island which was promised - it looks cheap inside which makes it harder to decorate. There are also no regulations in regards to dog droppings pick-ups outside of the apt.
-Not too much to walk to other than bars or a coffee shop -- its fun in the summer when the pools are open but is boring when the weather is cold.

If you are looking for a quality apt. with a mature crowd I would not recommend this apt. complex. If your biggest concern is meeting friends and partying (& you do not mind poor quality), this will be an apt. complex for you.

There are regulations for picking up after dogs. The problem is, it's a young, immature, completely inconsiderate crowd who lives here, and the rule is not enforced in the least.

This was my experience with Austin Ranch. A great place to meet people and party but, not an ideal place to live. I gave up the party scene for somewhere I could call a home.
