Moving as soon as my lease is up ...

I was new to the area when I first signed my lease and chose Austin Ranch, because of the nice amenities, modern look, and reasonable price. However, as soon as I moved in, I immediately started to regret my decision. The community is gorgeous and well maintained, however, the walls are thin and the crowd is a bit rowdy. Don't be surprised to be awakened by inebriated party-goers at 2 a.m.
Also, I currently pay an additional $75/mo. for a garage and it just so happens that everytime I need to leave my aparment, a golf cart will be parked right in front of my space blocking my point of exit. After several phone calls to the leasing office, I am still experiencing problems with this issue. At this point, I can almost guarantee that either a leasing agent or maintenance will be parked directly in front of my garage.
I also have to question the condition of the AC units and the insulation in Phase III. I am very conservative with the use of my electricity, making it a point to turn off my circuit box when I leave the apartment and rarely using the AC (except for when it is absolutely necessary). Regardless, my electricity bills are through the roof! During this past winter, my electricity bill exceeded an upwards of $140 for a 609 sqft. studio. However, during the spring season when the AC wasn't used as often, my bills were significantly less ($50 on average). Now that summer has come along, I'm beginning to see the same trend I saw during the winter. I've called the leasing office to investigate and I have yet to hear a response.
Reception in the area is horrible as well. If you have T-Mobile or Sprint, invest in a LAN line. You'll need it! And AT&T is the only service provider available for Internet service.
If you're considering this property, be aware of the crowd, the staff, and the utilities.
