Austin Ranch - disruptive neighbors

I've only been in this community for 2 months and I've already had to deal with ridiculous neighbors who blast their music for hours. My apartment walls actually shake. I've called security and out of the 4 calls made over 2 incidents, only 1 time security responded. I've spoken with management. I told them I feel uncomfortable and fear retaliation. They didn't seem to care. They told me to call the Colony PD next time there was an issue.
Last night the music started up again (in all fairness after about 2 weeks of decent noise levels). I could hear them outside yelling at someone and their door slammed shut. The music stopped shortly afterward. This time I didn't call security. I just planned to go to the office. When I went down to my car this morning and attempted to drive out of the complex I realized I had a flat tire. I pulled over and got out. There was a flat alright, and a large nail was sticking out of the tire. Since I did not go anywhere last night to get the nail, and I had no trouble driving home from work yesterday evening (its a 20 mile drive) sometime last night, the nail must have been gotten in there. I don't think I have to wonder how the nail got in the tire.

Nails can stay lodged in a tire for weeks, months even before a leak occurs. Most retaliation de' tour comes from a slashing of the sidewalls. Your neighbors are inconsiderate, but you may need to chalk this one up as coincidence.

My tires were not slashed, they were stolen right in front of my house. Strangely, this happened after I called to complain about firecrackers being thrown in front of my door, directly by my vehicle. It is better to move out than to complain - unless you have great insurance and don't mind the inconvenience of not being able to use your car.
