LYING deceptive staff. they will lie to your face & then tell you a different lie over the phone & of course they will deny anything they have previously said. i have lived in several apartments over the years & never have i ever encountered the BS i've had to deal w/ at Austin Ranch. get everything in writing- everything!!!! they will do anything to get money from residents. and according to 3 former neighbors, they put you thru hell at move-out ...you may even need legal representation!!!

Our move-out experience, and that of our friends who recently moved as well, was pretty awful. We didn't get any of our $600 deposit back, even though our walk through went "great." The lady that did the walk through said we left the apartment in great condition (or as good as it can be seeing as the maintenance there is sub par to begin with). Then, on our move-out bill, they claimed they had to replace the full carpet and pad because of large amounts of pet urine at the entryways. Here's the odd part- both entryways were tiled, not carpeted. I would never recommend someone to any part of Austin Ranch or its parent company. We left as soon as we could and don't regret it.

This is such a factual response. My father used to live there and literally me, my sister, my grandmother, and my uncle came out to clean the 3 story town house. The apt looked better than when my father moved in. They had the nerve to say that there was pet urine on the carpet. Funny how my father never owned a pet and my sister is allergic to pets so if there was pet urine, it was there well before my father moved in. My father had to take it to the corporate offices and send a complaint to the TAA. That's rediculous. This behavior seems to be consistant come move outs. This apt complex needs to be reported for false inspections. Ya'll have some nerve, idiots.

I would have to agree. Very deceitful staff. They'll do anything to get more money out of you. I was lied to many times and a girl literally laughed when I asked for a cheaper rate. They really do give better prices to people they "like". Very immature staff.

They are a bunch of ugly btiches that become stuck up snobs because they are leasing agents. About the only time any of them are friendly is when you are looking to lease and they want your money; after that, they look right past you and never speak.

Sounds like several people either didn't clean as well as they needed to, or need to contact the Better Business Bureau to report the alleged unfair practices. When I move, I will be taking video of the unit in full, getting documentation from the office, and if they try to stick me with a bill, they can take it up w/ my lawyer.
