I was one of the first to give this complex and staff a glowing review after we moved in. Well, it is a completely different story after you move-out. Get everything in writing that someone in the office tells you, because the story WILL change. We had to put down a full month's deposit when moving in, but were assured that this would be applied to our last month's rent...this could not be further from the truth. We were at this complex 14 mos and always paid our rent on time (never once late). I scrubbed our apt from top to bottom the weekend of our move-out. It was immaculate. There were a few minor carpet issues in the main hallway, but nothing Woolite heavy traffic carpet foam wouldn't get out. We simply ran out of time to get to them ourselves. There are a lot of vehicles leaking oil in the parking lot and you will track that mess into your apt eventually, it is unavoidable. We just got a copy of the carpet cleaning bill...$88 for us and $19.99 for the apt. When we turned in our move-out notice, we were assured by mgmt that we would only be charged for stains, not the carpet cleaning. The estimate states that there were 8 stains removed at a whopping $7.50 a piece. There is another charge for "heavy traffic wear" which we were charged as well. Completely insane! By the way, we have NO pets either! It has been almost 3 weeks since our move-out and still no deposit refund has been received. They will process your rent checks the same day here (convert it to a debit transaction), but to get money back to you after leaving--not so much! This place was great at first, but then you will receive your $300 monthly electric bill on a ground-floor 2 bdrm apt and wish you had rented a house instead! If you are skittish about mice/rats, go elsewhere as well. Last Winter someone had vomited in the breezeway connected to our unit, nobody would clean it up, and then the mice/rats would come in at night and feast on it (and they were NOT scared of people). BEYOND DISGUSTING!!
