I have lived here for almost 2yrs, I have had no problems whatsover. I love my apt. this is what I had been looking for for a very long time. I had the choice to pick my apt. view, facing So. no heat in my apt. Iam looking forward to renewing my lease. Friendly staff!. I think that your life style depends on the outcome of anywhere you live. Your utilities will always be high if you don't know how to set your thermostate.

We turned our ac/heat off during the day and only ran it at night. We still had outrageous electricity bills. It would help if the air did not leak out at the baseboards due to the poor insulation in the apt. buildings. Plus "digital" thermostats would help too. We know how to set a thermostat obviously...we are adults! We did this at our previous rental house and had very low electricity bills on a 2500 sq ft two-story house. Less than half of the electric bills we had at Sonoma Grande!

Maybe it's the elec. company? they do give you a choice but, turning off the ac does not help on the contrary it's a matter of turning down or up while your are not home. Iam sorry you feel this way,I've been very happy I guess it depends on where the apt. is located. I did a lot of planning before moving here and got exactly what I was looking for.

We had a whole lot of problems with the apartment complex. Good luck if you ever decide to move out, they will tack on 5000 dollars in random charges. Like toliet seats, stove tops, carpet, concreat and trash disposal. i know like two other residets they did the same thing to. Plus their matainance is god awful.

Come on people! I am so tired of reading these postings of people who are angry and blaming the apartments! You have to keep the apartment in the same condition it is when you move in - with in reason. If you move out and don't clean anything and have stains in your apartment - then yes - you will get charged. Lets take some responsibility for our actions and quit blaming everyone else!
