Moved in in the second quarter of 09. About average as far as apt's go. The people that live here are a bit on the shifty side. The safety here his kinda a joke. A HPD Officer walks the grounds once a week in the middle of the day. When nothing is happening. I do not trust the grounds to let my wife walk at night alone. Very dark walkways with lights burnt out in the parking lot and walkway that never seems to be fixed.
Speaking about fixing things, my air conditioner will not cool my apt down. In the day it is up to 86 degrees in here. I have put in request to get fixed but seems not to be a priority. It was "fixed" once already. Had to buy a portable A/C to try to live comfortably. I have had to put screws in to the stove to keep it together. The refrigerator is VERY small and is unlevel and has no produce bins, which were specifically requested upon move in. My neighbor came to my door tonight and complained of a water leak in her front room. I was taken downstairs and sure enough in her living room. From the ceiling to the floor.
There is also a problem with people working on cars in the parking lot. With auto parts all over the place. Parking backed into a spot when there is a sign the clearly prohibits this next to the auto. Other than that, I have not had any serious problems with parking near my apt or at least with in sight of it.
The construction across the street at the new surgery center is annoying but it should not last forever.
Besides it shortcomings, it is not that bad of a place. Just have to live carefully to be safe and comfortable.
