If you like cheaply made, very poorly maintained apartments with views of overflowing garbage dumps and parking lots full of red necks and their dirty beer bottles, this is the place for you!!!
Since I moved in October 2003, I've been visited by a major flood of the entire first floor of my townhouse (old rusty pipe that was never maintained in my bathroom), mice, rats, flying tree roaches, varied and assorted hooligans who have keyed my car, tapped into my cable line, let their dogs poop wherever they please... all for $800/month (2BR, 2.5B townhouse).
The fitness room, one of our supposed amenities, is usually trashed and filthy and almost never has working exercise equipment, water fountain or air-conditioning.
NO, I do NOT recommend Lakewood!
