I've lived in Lakewood 8 months now. I find the grounds nice for an older complex, the management is friendly and helpful. I have all new appliances and when I call for a service request they are prompt and attentive. I do have a problem with roaches but the management staff has had terminex come out and a weekly basis and has found an apartment renter who lives very unsanitary in the building and has started the eviction process on them. I find this above ad beyond as they could just call the pest control once and be done with it, like mot places would. All in all, you have problems in any complex, and most people who complain it's because they break rules or are loud or live like pigs and are probably being evicted. Judge for yourself, it's quiet, peaceful and a very nice complex with tons of upgrades. Well worth it.
