Run, don?t move there!!!!

When we moved into these apartments, the lady that showed them to us was nice, then it was as if she grew two heads. She?s stuck on herself and thinks she?s all that.Surprise, she?s not. she let me know the patio was not clean, and the blinds were dirty. We had already turned in our notice and had movers scheduled to move us. After I first moved in someone tried to break into my apartment. Then someone disabled my alarm system. The police stated that it had to be an employee due to the fact that they were able to bypass my pass number that I had set that day. A neighbor downstairs stated that she could hear two men talking in my apartment. We continually had breakins to vehicles, vandalism, and slashed tires. When I told the apt. manager she never followed through with making sure it was investigated. My job cut our monthly bonuses, and I went through some health issues that required medical treatment. I paid the late fees and was only 2 weeks late at the most the last two months. I chose to move, and had to break my lease. The manager stated that she would allow me to pay around $600.00 to break the lease. I paid half as agreed and then asked to pay the other half two weeks after the original agreement due to spinal injections I was going through. She through a fit and charged me another $800 , and stated this would pay for any repairs for breakins, resetting the alarms, and the 6mo free carpet cleaning we were supposed to get. She also stated that a section of the apartment had to be replaced, I cleaned the carpet myself, and my parents saw that it was in mint condition. Does this mean she pocketed the money, or who else' Being a single mom, I lived there almost a year, and only had problems due to pay cut and health problems, the last 2 months. As you can see, they really are a caring, and humane complex. Yea Right!!! Everyone I have rented from in the past and present can tell you I am a good tenant. Heaven forbid you should become ill. Now they have put it on my credit because I refused to pay the $800 dollars. The harrassing phone calls right afterwards was the worst. The people would scream at me. Belive me there are a lot better places to live. Go elsewhere.

Sincerely,

Someone who cares
