When I first saw the place, it was love at first sight. I was not looking closely enough. The manager does, in fact, change personalities once she has you in her clutches. Here is a sample of the fun I had: took 4 months to get my air conditioner to work AT ALL, the better part of two years before they figured out they needed to replace it. My electric bills were in the $400s. Complained to the manager and she said my sons left the door open all the time and would be hollaring out their windows upstairs to the kids who lived next door. Problem -- we had an indoor dog so our door was never left open, no other kids lived in that whole section, and the windows would not open anyway! Mold all over my son's bathroom and part of his bedroom. Four different times, maintenance came and PAINTED OVER the black mold. Three sets of loudly partying teens moved next door over that time and stayed for months with management doing nothing. The lights on the side (we were all the way in the back) were constantly out so we walked in pitch blackness to our apartment, after having to park about a block away. If I had not hated moving as badly as I did, I would have escaped a lot sooner.
