Don't even waste your time going by to visit Dovetree because the ladies in the office probably won't remember what apartment they are trying to show you. "What were you here for again''" I shouldn't have to tell you three times, lady! There were holes in our floor that the had just carpeted over and we could fit our heel in them!
Shortly after moving in, I realized our dishwasher wasn't heating up the water when it was running. I called the office and the lady said "Ohhh yeah, just leave your hot water running the whole time in the sink and it will stay hot in the dishwasher." She said this like she already knew this was a problem but failed to inform us of it. I asked her if she was kidding and she said no. So, I ran the hot water and it did work but I couldn't leave the apartment until the dishes were done and it was just an inconvenience!
Then they started doing the remodel and we had roofers on top of our second floor apartment at 6 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For WEEKS!!!!!!!!!! How long does it take to do a damn roof'''
And the ladies in the office couldn't ever find our lease when I needed to get a copy of it and when I got married they couldn't figure out how to change my last name or add my husband onto our lease.
I had enough of them and moved out AS SOON as our lease was up.

SAVE YOURSELF FROM DOVETREE!!

I have to say that I can feel you on this one. I am currently a resident and have been for some time. The management staff do appear nice at times. They are very flaky and dingy and have mediocre professionalism - which doesn't cut it in this competitive rental market. Once you irritate them or become an inconvenience then you are surely treated differently. They also tend to point fingers and have difficulty accepting responsibility for things. I wouldn't rate them so badly but for extended stays here - pass. You can overstay your welcome if you aren't in their plans.

Back when I was a tenant up until the very end (when management got shifted around) they used to have newsletters, semi-annual "garage sale" type events, weekly drawings, etc. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I understand that this has changed which is too bad. I still remember my stay at Dovetree rather fondly.. ah well... sad to see that the staff has fallen so low.
