I have been at Dovetree for a year. I have to say, these apartments are incredible. I moved here from Salado (crap!) and have had few unpleasant experiences, aside from rent going up upon my lease renewal.

The apartments are modern and beautiful. No white walls, new carpet, chrome fixtures, fairly new appliances. Pest control comes out every Tuesday, so no rodents. Pet friendly. Maintenance is there VERY quickly if you should need them. I only had to call them once when I first moved in. The grounds are gorgeous and constantly being maintained. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and remembers my name when I walk in the door. Laundry room has just been redone, it's very nice. Park, gazebo, and pool area are always clean and well taken care of.

My only problem with these apartments are my neighbors. A rowdy sorority girl lives above me, so I have to endure a few late night parties. The guy next to me has shouting matches with this ex-girlfriend in front of their child. Granted, these incidents have been few, but I've called the 24 hour courtesy officer a few times. Of course, this is absolutely nothing that Dovetree can control, and they have been very efficient in calming down my noisy neighbors when necessary.

Overall, definitely consider Dovetree. In my opinion, the best apartments in Tyler for the price!
