I am a prospective tenant, actually I am moving in next weekend, but I have visited the apartments on several different occasions. The management has gone over and above to make sure that I am happy with the apartment and are willing to answer any questions that I might have. I have also driven through the complex on several occasions on Friday and Saturday nights to check out the noise level. I haven't seen or heard anything that has me second guessing the move here. I have been reading the comments and I am very nervous about the electric bill! Overall, I am excited and have not been disappointed yes. Let's hope this continues throughout my stay here!

I would definitely be nervous about the electric bill. I have moved from here and my electric bill is half the cost of what it was when I lived here. I keep my house cooler than I ever kept my apartment and I am also cooling an extra 1000 sq ft. My summer bills reached over $400 and that was with the temp set between 78 and 75 and I was still burning up!!!

For lower electric bills:My recommendation is switch to Amigo energy or some other provider - their rates vary between 9.1 to 9.9 c per KWH as opposed to TXU - starts at (15c per KWH I guess). I have started saving a fortune ever since I did that. http://powertochoose.org/ For our prospective friend - the appliances are old and the management is okay to a point till they start giving you a hard time. Location is excellent, rent is reasonable, security is not an issue, noise has never been a problem. Welcome to the (old - home type) community ...kidding.
