We love it!

We've had very few problems. We did pay for the upgrade, but I think it's worth it - better light fixtures, sink faucets, ceiling fans, and beige walls. The upgrade helps make it homey. It's true that I can see places that have been patched on the walls in some places, paint on the floor in the corners, etc, but I'm not that picky for the price. I can, on occation, hear a neighbor use the toilet, but not often. I just figure it's part of apartment living. Same with the college kids peeling out in the parking lot at 2am. I can never hear the next door neighbors talking or anything like that. I can only hear our downstairs neighbors if their TV is on really loud.
One thing I would change: I do wish that they would add A/C to the community laundry room. They recently added ceiling fans, but it doesn't help much.
All in all, Quail Creek is definitely the cheepest "nice" apartment complex in Tyler. It's an EXCELLENT location and in a nice neighborhood - I've never felt unsafe. I have many friends who have lived here and liked it, too. If you're looking for perfection, then expect to pay a lot more. I personally would rather pay less for a really nice apartment, then more for a "perfect" place.
