I read all the reviews for University Pines, for the most part they were negative. These negative reviews are very unfair. I feel the majority of these complaining people have no idea of what student housing is. University Pines is a transition from mom and dad's house to the "real world". The employees of the Pines serve a dual role of property manager and teacher outside of the classroom.

There are numerous complaints of price. University Pines is a full service community. All these complaints of price never consider the individual lease liability offered by this community. The people who hated it so much will come to see the value when they are stuck with an entire lease when their "friends" jump ship on them in a conventional complex. In addition IT'S STUDENT HOUSING! Welcome to reality, all student housing is expensive.

University Pines is a wonderful place. It is a community of students who don't understand it's value and won't for a while. If you are looking for an enviroment built around and for college students this is the place to be.

Oh, one more thing, they are not security gates they are limited access gates. No one can assure security. The reason they are broken is due to the RESIDENTS abusing them!
