I have lived here for 2 years and it has been miserable. The situations that were created within my apartment and outside were pretty much ignored by management. Roommate remidation is a big fat JOKE!! It ist worth the time you put into it. Management dosent want to put the time in that it takes to help resolve issues that arrive. The RA's are a joke. I'm friends with several of them, but as RA's they dont do any good. They do play favorites and I can name several of them who break campus rules, that under any other circumstances, would get someone kicked out.
The price is hiway robbery. I'm paying 256 dollars a month for a 4 bedroom apartment. I have to share a bathroom with one other person and the living room and kitchen with 3 people. You have a box that you can call your own. The office dosent do anything if someone decides to have their boyfriend or girlfriend live with you. And to top it all off, rent is going to 310 dollars a month for a 4-bedroom. Its cheaper to live off campus in a two bedroom two bath apartment with one other person.
Parking is non-existant unless you happen to get one of the apartments by visitor parking. If you are unlucky enough to have to park in visitor, the lighting is poor and it is dangerous. The gates do not assure saftey, its easy to tailgate someone or to just call someone and tell them you are pizza delivery.
There is a lot of noise, especially if you live behind the athletes. They are the worst. I eventually gave up on calling the RA's and going over there and I just call campus police to take care of it.
The only good things about these apartments is the location to the school, but you can live at emerald ridge and get the same location. If you can avoid it, dont live here. If you want specifics, just e-mail me and I'll give you all the details you want.
