I am currently a resident at Arbour Oaks well Villa Mesa since they changed their name, and I can't wait until my lease is up because they are so ghetto now nothing but drug dealers and drug addicts. They have a new management company and to be honest they are distroying this place after it had been cleaned up from this kind of mess. They seem to never keep the same office staff and they are moving anybody in. I have many times gone by the office to speak to the manager of all that I see going on here or any other problems I have and nobody ever seems to be in the office. The police are always out here now and I feel unsafe so all I can say is BEWARE... They must not care about their long term residents. When you see the manager out on property she is usually walking aroung with her cigarette in her hand and in flip flops. How professional is that. I will be moving once my lease is up in February. Good luck to whomever chooses to live here.

The owner of the property died (who lived in California, I might add) and his wife was left with the property. She, in turn, left it up to her brother and brother-in-law to "maintain", as far as maintenance repairs and cleaning were concerned. However, as everyone who sees them will notice they are usually drunk, incapable of fixing anything and generally lazy. The change of name I would guess is an attempt at redeeming the reputation of this complex, and perhaps as a way to unload it on an unsuspecting investor. My family lived there almost 2 years and we were constantly flooded and had terrible roaches. Yes, drug dealers abound and of course that woman whose kids ran loose, Connie Johnsons, were horrible tenants. She liked to expose herself to my husband when he would walk by. She is a sicko and an alcoholic. But as far as the whole "management goes, you got a lazy, fat mexican woman as a manager who could give a ----.
