I moved into these aparments approximately 5 months ago. So far, there have been many renovations and changes that have been made. They seem to be making great improvements. They are adding on to make living at Abbey Glenn better for the residents. The management is friendly and helpful. Parking seems to be one of my only problems, but I have even seen measures been taken to correct the issue. I would reccommend this complex to others, and in fact, have already done so. You definitely won't find a better deal for the price!

i'm considering living at abbey glenn for next school year, and what i've seen looks really great, but these bad reviews are making me have second thoughts. does the water really go from extremes in temperature? and are the crickets still that bad? is the area too unsafe to live in?
From: Anonymous Date: 03/30/2008
there were like over 30 crickets when i moved in because the doors are poorly aligned with the door frame. The officer doesnt patrol thats my beef. My water does change temps mid showere it weird you just gotta jump out when it starts changing lol. I would go with the outpost where all the residents are students and not have babies running around upstairs all day!!!! i think theres a rodent and mold problem in the buildings because of the mold clause in the lease hahah

The water no longer goes from hot to cold. Mine used to do it, but since maintenance came and fixed it, I haven't had a problem. We did have crickets, but everywhere in Texas has them at the end of the summer. I like my apartment at Abbey glenn. Everywhere you go, there are going to be some problems, but mine have been very minimal.

The crickets are still horrible. I understand that they are everywhere outside, this is Texas, but having to kill 15 a day is a bit excessive. And management does nothing to attempt to erradicate the problem. Also everything is always breaking. We have called about our toilet because it breaks every other week, and it takes maintenence forever to come. Our AC is messed up so our electricity bill is sky high I cannot wait to get out of this hell hole!
