These apartments are terrible to park. It says gated community but there are TWO side doors people can just walk in. I had my truck broken into. My side window busted. My cd player, speakers, digital camera, tanning lotions, bathing suit, they even took my cheese and crakers I was pissed. But anyways that was because I had to park in the vistor section when I pay for a gated community to feel safe. When I went to the front office since they told me to park there all they said was file a report. I had already did that with the police but I still hold Abbey Glen responisble for not having a locked gated community with sufficient parking and the area where I parked with their landscape is all shrubs and trees and it was pretty dark so it was not well lit. Also, there is a security officer on site but you can only page him and he never returns the call. My girlfriend parked inside the gate because there was no parking upfront in visitor and she got towed for $200! I asked for another sticker because she moved in with me and they said no only one. I said I have two vechicles and they said so park one up front in visitor even though that part is unsafe.If I pay for 3 bedroom apartment I believe I should have 3 parking stickers even if someone moves out. Yes the landscape is nice it looks like a jungle but it can benefit thieves by giving them places to hide out at.I would not recommend it because the area it is by the salvation army which that tells you there are bums walking around and it is by a bridge off the highway and a church goes under the bridge and they are loud on Sundays and they park all down the road and it is a nightmare to get by. I agree with that person the parking is not at all anywhere close to be ok. You have to park far away from your apt. so I cannot hear my car alarm if needed. And it is true when walking the water covers the sidewalks and I have to walk way out of the way to get around it. There are two side doors that I call and tell my friends to walk in if I am having a party and when I told management they said "Oh, I only knew of one door being unlocked on the gate? So, that is really bad not even know when you can tell in the comments from 2004 that parking and the GATE have been an ongoing problem for years!

Poor Baylor -----. God forbid the homeless people be even a few hundred yards away from you. You should be thanking GOD that you have a mommy and daddy that pay for your every little pathetic need. I have so much more respect for the homeless than I do for any Baylor waste of a life. Why don't you try living on the street for one night? I doubt you could.

I have lived at Abbey Glenn for almost 2 years now and I haven't had any problems with the parking. When my boyfriend comes to visit, he parks in the visitor parking because he is a visitor. If all visitors were able to park inside the gate I would not have a place to park. Also, compared to other places around Baylor where my friends live, Abbey Glenn is very safe. Yes the salvation army is just down the road, but I personally have not had anyone bother me since I moved here. To the pseron who wrote this review, your vehicle can get broken into anywhere you park it. I just make sure I remove everything of value from my car so it will not happen to me.

The apartments alltogether suck. Too expensive all i have to say is dont move to this apt.
