There are so many things wrong with these apts. you could take up 3 full pages of complaints. We have lived here for 2 years and the only reason we have not moved out is because of the cheap rent. Yes, the rent is not as expensive as other apts. around Baylor, but that does not mean that the cost should overrule the NASTINESS of this place. I think there are like 3 maintenance men and to get them to actually do a job takes around 2 to 3 weeks. The toilets are always broken, the clubhouse is a peice of trash, the stairs to the apts. are rusting and have metal hanging from them. Management is the WORST I have ever scene. The people that are writing the good reports on these apts. must be management or a close relative, because everyone I know who lives here HATES IT! Oh, and they did raise rent "to fix up the apartments", I have not scene the fruits from that labor. Also, management will screw you out of money, they seem to lose checks, and put an eviction notice on the door for not paying rent. The only way you can get out of it is if you show them a copy of your check. If you pay with money order *you better keep the receipt*. So overall, management are -------, appliances in apts break down, only about 1/3 of the washers and dryers work, and the maintenance men are never to be found! Good things: residents, parking, and Jory the gate keeper!
