I had to move to Waco and find a place quickly because I started a new job before I had much of a chance to look around. From what I found online I checked out a couple places and chose Baxter because they were about the only choice with a washer and dryer. I really wish I had known about this web site.

Everything previously posted about the management is true. They are extremely difficult if you ever have to deal with them. I had a family emergency and ended up having to break my lease early and every time I spoke to them about what I needed to do it was different. I knew it was going to be expensive, but they tried to charge me more everytime I spoke to them about it. Point is they do not have it together.

My biggest problem was that I didn't feel safe. Anytime you had to go out after dark, the lights were turned off by the buildings and mailboxes. There were always shady people just walking around. The so called "security guard" was a car that drove through like twice a night I think.

Also, there were mice in my apartment and I told management several times. An exterminator comes like twice a year, but he said he just sprayed for bugs. The cabinets were gross with rotted out holes in the bottom, carpet had bleach stains all over it. Maintenance guy was cool...if I saw him walking around the complex I'd just tell him what was broken and it'd be taken care of, but he left because he said Denise was horrible to work for.

Anyway, I needed something cheap and quick. If I would have had even another day to find something I never would have chosen that dump. Just think anyone should be aware before they move in...
