I lived in beargrounds for 3 years while I went to law school. I had a great experience--for the price. There are occasional issues with car breakins--but, that is anywhere you live around Baylor's campus. The maintenance were nice and attentive and my electric bills were 1/3 of everyone else I know! I saved over 30,000 living in beargrounds instead of Sam's Place like some of my friend's did. When you graduate and realize what school debt does with compunding interest that is probably more like a 50,000 savings! If you want a place to party--don't live here. If you want a good place to live alone and study... this is a good place to live.
