Be careful of "dog friendly" places!

I just have to say that I lived here too in college, and it is a "fun" place to be if you don't want to focus on anything other than partying. The dog-friendliness of this place is excessive...there are no weight limits, and some people have three or four giant dogs living on their balconies, and they bark all hours of the day and night. Yes, dog-friendly is fun, but don't expect to get any peace and quiet, because the management won't do anything about the dogs. Pretty scenery and nice floorplans, but very poor noise quality and community. There are always people working on their cars out in the parking lot and revving their engines. I expected a little bit nicer atmosphere for the money and the location, but it's just like living in Bellmead or Lacy Lakeview.

You response with comparisons of Bellmead and Lacy Lakeview indicates you have no class. In 2008 Brazos Park is a great place to live. Remember, in the real world, recommendations mean alot, and when you fail to recommend a home you resided in- whose fault is it? Yours or BP's. Buck up and take responsibility/ hopefully you're. an adult now/ esp since you lived here when you were in COLLEGE>

I am completely with you--too many dogs, ridiculous amount of people working on junker cars and even better, their dirtbikes. I lived in Lacy Lakeview when I was a sophomore, and it was great for a 19-year-old who partied all the time. When I grew up and wanted to live somewhere quiet, with nice views, and convenient to downtown, I moved to BP--guess what? It is Lacy Lakeview all over again, just with higher rents and louder dogs.
