This is the first and last year for me in Mark Twain. For the most part, these places are a good value. I'm paying $580 a month for a 2 bedroom furnished unit. As one of the previous commentors said, they did have a massive plumbing problem here. Not only was there water all over my kitchen floor often last semester, but I lived RIGHT next to this sewage pipe that leaked out into the road and grass. It was disgusting. I had a leak in the roof as well where the drain water from the shower would come into the living room. When repairmen came to fix these problems, they often left things unfinished or big messes. One of the subcontractors actually left a big carpet drying fan, and I still have it. Hello ebay. Wood-paneled walls were painted in my apartment, and it wasn't done very well. Paint peels everywhere. But it is close to campus, pretty cheap, and the problems weren't too horrible for me.
