Many points need to be made in respect to the quality of this apartment complex. The floor plans are unusual and have a lot of character, and the overall ambiance of the complex is well maintained. I appreciated the charm of the apartments and groundskeeping when I first moved into my apartment. Unfortunately, my apartment was at the back of the complex and might be analogous to the neglected step-child of the complex. The groundskeeping is terrible with relatively few patches of grass seated among plenty of exposed dirt and discarded trash. There are rotting railroad ties, and chronic wasp and ant infestations. I requested additional attention to my area of the complex, but no changes were made and my apartment area remains in disrepair. It is also important to mention that, although vaulted ceilings are a beautiful addition to the apartments, they are not conducive to Texas summers when your apartment faces west. My electric bills were excessive, and my apartment never felt cool during the summer daytime hours. All in all, this complex has potential, but needs a great deal of work before it will live up to it.
