Okay, I?ve been a resident for about a year now and I think its time to move. I will try to be as objective as possible in this review.

The main reason we moved in was a)they accept dogs, b) close to where we work. We thought they were a little overpriced but we really hadn?t compared to other apts in the area. Here are my pros and cons to living here. Hopefully this would help you decide whether this is the place you want to hang your hat.

Pros: Very nice surroundings, close to the lake and a couple of parks. Area seems secure, although I could see some places where you might be worried, especially at the bottom of the hill, where the lighting is not so good and there is a lot of foilage. Apartments and grounds seem well kept overall. 2nd story apts. have really nice vaulted ceilings, which make your apt seem much larger. Management ocassionally has events such as cookouts and car washes to benefit residents, they are also for the most part real nice and helpful when you go in person.


Cons: Way too overpriced, no bills included so you pay water, trash and electric. I mean they could at least spring for basic cable! They will never come to fix your apt the first time you call. It usually takes four or five calls or a trip to the office to get something done, and sometimes it?s not done right the first time. Management is unwilling to work with you on anything, regarding rent or contract or whatnot. Ants are a big problem, we had the pest control person spray but he couldn?t get rid of them. In the end it took "ant baits" that we purchased to rid us of them. Wasps can also be a problem in the summer, especially if you have an upstairs apt. The pools are really nice, but are usually closed or way too dirty to swim in. Gym is literally just a treadmill, stairmaster and a universal machine.



Overall, I wouldn?t recommend these apts, mainly because they are overpriced, and management seems hard to work with.
