I can go on forever about how bad these apartments are! First of all, the rent is way too high for what you get out of it. Also, the area is poorly lit. I have had two cars broken into while living there. I understand that it is not the complex's fault for the theft, but they did nothing to fix the situation (i.e. better lighting). They have a huge problem with ants. We had them try to remedy the situation several times. The people there told us to live with the problem because there was nothing there could do about it. Also, we sent a letter about all the things wrong with the apartment and threaten to move out. We never got a response. I even sent a letter to the parent company. I never got a reponse from there. When one of my neighbors was involved in an involuntary job transfer, they refused to work with him on the lease. If you are desperate enough to go there, make sure you have the paragraphs about job transferring and unemployment omitted from your contract so that you can break your lease if you need to.
