good for Baylor, bad for everyone else

Currently, Rivercrest is going through some $2.2 million dollar facelift. I have yet to see something that I call "great" about it. The 7am hammering has stopped but the place is half painted, half caulked.
Like I said, live here if you go to Baylor. Mommy and Daddy will pay for your $200 summertime energy bill and your $40 water bill. It is just down the street from all of your classes.
If you don't go to Baylor, don't even bother...I just graduated from TSTC and I see why everyone talks crap about Baylor. Having lived around the rudest frat boys and snobbiest little girls I can see why everyone is against them.
Oh, and don't forget that you live right across the street from the Ferrell Center. Good luck finding parking during Basketball season. The management doesn't do anything about all of the non-resident's parking in OUR parking spaces that we pay for.
The trees were trimmed but none of them were cut down. So expect to wash the bird ---- off of your Suburban Assault Vehicle at least twice a week. Oh and my back porch is falling apart. I had a graduation party recently and I was freaking out that it was going to cave in because 10 people were out on it.
The management changes everytime I walk in to pay my $40 water bill. Currently they have some anorexic coffee addict working in the front office. The other blonde lady admitted that she didn't know anything about the water bills or how they worked.
What a wonderful place to stay!

I cannot beleive that you have the guts to type something like you did. The office staff is always friendly. They do their best to be as nice as people allow them to be, but when you go into the office with an attitude, what do you expect. And the disprespect you showed by talking about the office staff is just plain stupid. Apparently you have no home training to be repsectful to other people. As for the water bills, as you are aware, everyone was new in the office and learning the ropes probally when you came in and inquired about the water bill. The staff has been going round and round with the water company to get definate answers. If you needed to know more why did you not just call the water company YOURSELF?. Rivercrest is an awesome place and the renovation is going to make it even better. If you dont like it, then dont go back but keep your negative opinions to yourself or have the guts to say them to someones face instead of typing it in on a computer.

I think that both the management and the person writing the comments are correct. The new management is VERY friendly and helpful. They knew my name within two weeks. They have been somewhat slow at figuring out the water bill business, but it is to be expected. I think they are a great improvement on the previous management. But, I also know that the prices they are charging are way out there. The renovation is simply helping the place look like what it shoud look like. But it is not work the one hundred some odd dollars that the rent will go up. I am currently moving out, but if the prices were better I would definetely stay. I never heard of any car break-ins here, but they happen everywhere else in waco even gated communities.
