I lived there while both managements were there, and yes I will agree that it is an improvement from last management, but it is not the best. The new management is just the better of two evils. I moved out and first of all, how in the heck does a water bill go to $76 a month from $35-40 (not $27). Secondly, they need to get their ---- straight with those water bills, they do not know what was paid and what was not, and they do not even notify you when your bill is due. I lived there for a year and got two water bills, then two weeks before move out I got all of them together. They should be considerate and make sure that situation is taken care of. But, if you do decide to move here, make sure to deal with the blonde lady in the back room of the office, she is way nicer and more understanding that the other one. She looks like she actually wants to help, the other one will act like you are just a business transaction. Rent, well that went up quite a bit, I had a two bedroom for $650, then got a letter saying I would have to pay $915 I wanted to stay there, so I said laters, as did a number of my neighbors. Basically KEEP AWAY, there are much nicer apts you can live in for the price. Shoot a small downtown loft is only $650!! The place will look great on the outside after renovations, but the inside still looks like it was built twenty years ago!!

If you lived there, then you know that the bills come to your mailbox, so it is not the managments responsiblity to tell you that you have a water bill in your mailbox. If you have so many issues with the water bills, then you need to go higher than the office staff. they are only doing what they can. They dont regulate the water bills.. Call the corporate office and gripe at them. As for the staff, with as much as people harp on them, that is probally why you got the wrong impression of them. I think they are great. They are always willing to help me, take care of any issues that i have. If some people were not so snooty and think because they go to Baylor, they should get the royal treatment, they they probally would be able to get along with everyone in the office. I think both the ladies in the office are great. Give them a chance and i bet you will find they are really nice people.

Yea well, I have lived at 5 different apt. Complexes while at baylor. I can say that Rivercrest would be the last on my list to recommend. I love the place I am in now and the manager here is great, but the lady at rivercrest would just give me excuses and then tell me to come back later. I know that water bills are SUPPOSED to come in the mail, but I had told them several times that I was not getting any and htey said they would call the water company. When I left there were some bills for over $70, she told me that water was simply going up and all companies would do the same. I currently pay $22 at my new place. So much for that lie. I think the improvement from last management is there, but this new management plays favorites. SO I wonder what you did to get on her good side?

The water bills (includes trash) got weird when they switched billing services. They've been coming on time for awhile now, but I always just ask for a total when I go pay rent so I can just write one check.
