This is the absolute worst place I've ever stayed and it's so nice to be out of there and into a place that is actually run by competent people.

I lived at Saddlebrook for 13 months and it was terrible. I am working my residency and so my hours are all over the place. I usually sleep during the day and work overnight. There is so much construction going on behind Saddlebrook on Hewitt Drive that there is no sleeping or relaxing during the day. Even if you just want to curl up with a good book, it's impossible due to the extremely loud construction going on.

I also had problems while moving out. I had carpet and they tried to intimidate me into paying for a carpet stain that was there when I moved in. I had a copy of the sheet you fill out when you move in that has all the dings and dents about the apartment. Right there in plain ink was "stain on carpet". When I refused to pay, they served me with papers to go to civil court. I took time off of work and won. They just figured that I wouldn't show up and that they could pressure me into paying to get rid of it. It was nice to hear the judge really lay it into the apartment complex for wasting his time. The judge gave me my countersuit but this is ridiculous and it was a major hassle and I wish I didn't have to go through it.

Please, spare yourself the hassle and pain and rent elsewhere in Hewitt.
