Everything IS NOT fine.
And how would you know the manager lives on site' That is, IF, in fact management does live on site. Furthermore, you SHOULD be super concerned "if the gate doesn't work," ESPECIALLY when you know darn well it's more often than "a few days every few months." That is BS! It's waaaaaaaay more often than that and you very well know it.
In the event that alone doesn't "super concern" you, something clearly does or you wouldn't be checking out this site.
Apartments appear to be somewhat "made ready" to lease to unsuspecting new residents, after that, you're on your own as far as maintenance.
For the record, NOT every resident gets discouraged and tosses in the towel...some fight back. I'm willing to bet sitting judges/juries would take a mighty dim view of what's been going on, I don't care how many high dollar litigators Saddlebrook can hire.

Saddle Brook and Saddle Brook West have been Screwing residents for years. The owners are brothers and they Screw each other.

Just FYI when you try and pursue legal action they put you off over and over again! it has been 10 months and still waiting to go to court because they keep changing it!

I have hired an attorney to fight Saddlebrook Apartments. I broke my lease after 3 months (that time included a 30 day written notice)because they advertised a "Secure Access Gate" to the grounds. The gate was broken 79 of 90 days from Jun-Aug 2004. When I pointed out that Saddlebrook Apartments advertised a secure community, management stated that it was not Saddlebrook Apartments to provide a functional gate. If anyone is being harassed or sued by Saddlebrook and would like to join forces and take this to court, please send your emails and concerns to spaniard-tx@excite.com. Your information will only be shared with my attorney. I will not let Saddlebrook Apartments get away with ruining peoples credit rating due to early lease termination. Saddlebrook Apartments is not in performance of the contract. RVQ Courts will listen to the little guy (tenants) when they join forces.
