I lived here for 3 years while going to school, and thought that it was a great place to live. I never had any major maintenance concerns, and the things that did come up were usually fixed in a reasonable time (there were a couple of occasions where I had to ask twice, but eventually it all got done). The apartments themselves are big and well-built. The common areas are pretty well-kept. I really enjoyed having access to the pool and exercise room (which is very well-equipped). Most of the tenants are respectful and quiet, and I only occasionally had problems with noise from the neighbors (more often, I had a problem with the noise from people's cars/trucks when they were driving by). I will agree with previous comments that the gates are almost never working (and I never did figure out how to use the intercom system from my cell phone), but this is a pretty safe neighborhood (and who are we kidding anyway, if someone wants to get in, the gates aren't that high!). I never had any problems with safety (the common areas are well-lit). The only real downside I can think of for this apartment was guest parking (there is some, but it fills up fast and sometimes is far away from your unit). Rent is also on the higher side for the area, but I always thought it was worth it. Oh, also the workers in the office change A LOT, so while some of them are good, they are always changing and you never know who you are talking to!!!
