Saddlebrook attendants act as if they are kind hearted, however once it's time to move they are terrible. Not once was I told about a 60 day notice before move out and when I called months in advance to ask when my move out day was they told me the date but nothing about the so called form I was to fill out. So the night before I was to move cross country they told me I had to pay them an additional 2 months rent. It is ridiculous and double crossing. I tried to speak with them and all they did was shake their heads and say see you in court. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

They did the same thing to me! Be prepared to go to court b/c they aren't kidding. I dealt with it for 2 1/2 years and I even gave a notice way in advance. But they said they never got it!

I'm confused. Far be it from me to defend this jackas*e* aka thieves aka crooks, but DID IT ESCAPE your memory to read your Lease Agreement? Because it is ALL in there. I had one. I read it. Firstly,60 day move out notice is EXCESSIVE, but YOU SIGNED A LEASE AGREEING TO IT!!! I think IT IS RIDICULOUS to have to "request a move out form" but you HAVE to do it. Also, you either send a move-out notice per certified mail-return receipt delivery, or you type it up, and have someone in the office SIGN THE ORIGINAL, keep it, and make you a copy I suggest you take WITH YOU and place in a VERY safe place (concrete vault/bank). I've heard numerous stories about forms, notices, etc., being "lost." POPPYCOCK. They weren't lost (intentionally TRASHED rather). Management knows you are complacent and stupid, they're milking you, that's how they make their $$$. AND IT'S WORKING PEOPLE!!! My big question is this. Over the period of your lease, while living in that sh**hole, did you not have occasion to go toe to toe with Management over security issues, parking issues, maintenance issues, etc.? If so, was this NOT indicative of where your business relationship with them was headed? I almost miss living there, seeing idiots like you on a daily basis was so amusing. By the way, I dotted my "I's" and crossed every "t", they knew not to screw with me. I got my deposit back to the very last dime. GET A GRIP PEOPLE.

You are an idiot! You must be defending management or are a member of the staff! These people never hand out the lease. They forget, don't have a working fax machine, sent it, blah blah blah, pick out an excuse by them. They particularly go after out-of-state renters because they know they can!

I filled out the form back in October, and paid almost $7000 to break the lese, now 8 months later they want me to fill out another form and be responsible for any damages done in the last 6 months. They also will not do the walk thru until after the end of July. I have no keys, I left at the end of October 07, and now they want to do a walk thru because they have "no paperwork" on the previous one done? Yep, going to see an attorney next week.

If someone is going so far to post a negative experience, I can't say I know for sure but writing is on the wall. This is for the people who hated it or loved it, I appreciate the stories. Stop being an idiot and let someone tell their story about their living experience. If it was bad, it was bad..... if it was good, good for them. I cant stand it when people just want to jump up and have no clue - sit down clown. I know my friend stayed there and I went to inquire about the apts, staff was friendly. Next time I came to ask for a slight favor, (do you have a post it I could write a message on) completely rude then. Anyways, you responded too passionately, you must be suing this renter.

Just so you guys and gals know... yes they try to take advantage of everyone mainly out of staters b/c they assume you will just pay to get away from them... however I have learned from a lawyer that even if you were to go to court and not win they can't come after you in most states if not all of them but tx...which means they can't make you pay or have a warrant for you to pay in any state but tx. Also talked to a lawyer and he said that these people are terrible and try to take advantage of college students by acting nice and rushing them into signing... he also said people are on to their game about "not having signed sheets" and having "broken copy machines" He said that most of their lawsuits are not even proper law suits or truly legal. So if a lawyer is telling people that you know this apartment complex is awful!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. the management staff is terrible. i was filling out a check by the front door once and overheard them gossiping about the renter that just left the office. they are rude, self absorbed and do not care about their renters
