I did not renew my lease with Saddlebrook West and I would not recommend them to anyone else.

I fell in love with the floor plan, having two master bedrooms in the apartment is a major plus. Also, I really enjoyed the garden tub.

The pros end there. The walls are thin, the paint is cheap and hard to keep clean. You can hear your neighbors below you and next to you. There is never any parking. If you have more than 1 driver in your apartment, you are out of luck because they only give you one covered parking space. And there are never any spaces available in the "guest" parking.

If the problems ended there, I might recommend living there. The worst part of my 13 months there was having to deal with the management. Moving in was easy, living there and moving out was a major headache. I paid rent on time, every month. The apartment as clean the day I left as the day I moved in. I had several problems that were never resolved. The gate worked about 20% of the time I lived there. My gate entry device quit working about 2 months into my lease and they never replaced the original one. They said they were ordering it and I checked in every few weeks, but they never replaced it. Also, there was mold from a leaking pipe behind the pantry. They painted over it, but never resolved the water issue so it came back.

When I moved out, they tried to say there were damages and they threatened civil court. Nothing ever came of that because I threatened to counter sue for harassment and damages.

This place is a major headache.
