Financial Nightmare!

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
After my company relocated me (Oct 07), I completed all paperwork and still had to pay the rest of my lease in full. I had been there only 4 months and paid right at $7000.00 to "break" my lease. I submitted all paperwork. Now, 6 months after leaving (May 08), I am being asked for another vacate notice and they want to do a walk thru and charge me for any damages. I don't know that they have or have not re-leased and now want to extort more money out of me! If I sign the "new" vacate form, I am assuming responsibility for those 6 months. If I don't they want to charge me 2 extra month's rent and a walk thru for damages. What a bunch of crooks!
