I never lived here, but I was going to. The day my roomates and I went to the office to turn in our applications they tried to get us to sign a lease for the apartment! Told us that it was "standard procedure". MY BUTT! I told 'em I wasn't going to sign anything until I was sure that we would be approved. The leasing agent (who looked like a valley girl cheerleader in her too short skirt and sleeveless tank top...real professional....@_@) kept pushing me to sign it until i finally gave up. mind you, this was before they even ran our info to see if they would approve us...well, two days later they call me and tell me that we have to have a co-signer that makes at least 6500 a month and the security deposit and the pro-rated rent (we were gonna move in halfway into the month) PLUS next months rent!!! BEFORE we'd be approved!!! I just had to laugh at her...seriously, i laughed till tears came. she tried to threaten me with the "you signed the lease, you're obligated" i told her to tell it to my lawyer and I'd be by with him that day to retrieve the lease and she shut up quick. got the bogus paperwork and the joy of watching that money grubbing little tart fall over herself to get me the papers she'd made me sign (minus the manager's signature, which leaves it invalid anyway) and get us out. NEVER before have I been so disgusted with how and office was run. It was more like a sorority party than a business. people from the pool dripping wet sitting around in the leasing office chatting up valley girl leasing agent and then getting pissed when a prospective tenant walks in and they had to leave. she told us that shed gone through 4 managers in the 2 years she'd been there. not worth the extras, trust me.
