This is the worst low income complex I've ever visited. My mother has been a resident for little over a year or so. During serval visits hot water would be available for weeks at a time (due to boiler problems), there is always trash on the grounds, tenents are unable to receive US mail on Saturdays, maintenance workers are unable to be located daily causing repairs to go unattended for weeks and/or months. Even after the 10:00 p.m. curfew, the noise level seems to get worst (violating the noise ordinance). The tenents are afraid to lodge a complaint, in fear of being evicted by management. I personally feel the executives of this property is unaware of the living conditions the tenents are faced with.

these are official housing projects, nuff said. I feel for the good hearted ones especially children who cannot afford to leave.

Trendwood Apts. can be ran a lot better.Workers in the office are hardly there so if something is wrong with your apt.its almost impossible to fet it fixed.If you are able to inform someone about maintenance problems work orders are not getting put in for them to come to your apt.Some tenants are not obeying rules laid out in the leases as far as curfews,noise levels etc. This makes it hard for the tenants who are obeying the rules to rest or even being comfortable in their own home.I strongly believe that trendwood apts. need to be under new management,with people who doesn't mind coming to work and getting the job done.
