This is hands down the worst apartment complex I've even lived in. I really didn't enjoy anything about the property, management, maintenence, or neighbors. The complex is rampant with meth and other assorted drug activity, fist fights were a common thing to see, loud music from apartments and cars usually non-stop, generally rude neighbors, Lake Shore is always noisy with passing cars, grass usually means burrs and weeds, apartment furnishings are usually decaying or broken, no microwaves, maintenence is never done in any reasonable amount of time, car and apartment theft is a common thing, and the walls are so thin you can hear the person under you sleeping, I kid you not! They have incredible leasing offers and specials that are really hard to turn down if you're on a budget, and when you take a tour of their model unit, it looks decently nice, but beware, their model is the nicest unit in the whole place, honest!!! Bite the bullet and spend an extra little bit of cash to move into a better complex around town. Most of the kitchens feature roaches and rotting cabinetry that makes you really think hard about putting your dishes away. If you've read this far and haven't decided to think about somewhere else, then I guess theres nothing more I can stay to convince you, but trust me on this one!
