I live here and continue to live here only because I cannot afford to move out.
1). Apartment filthy on move-in, despite having a week's notice I was coming with all my worldly possessions. Toilet didn't flush, so I spent my first night at a hotel (and never was reimbursed for it).
2). Despite being promised a clean up, it never came. I had to clean it myself or I would be living in filth to this day.
3). Shoddy building materials mean frequent repairs needed. I tell my friends that I feel like I am living in the "projects."
4). Almost every time it rains, water seeps about four-feet into the apartment from outside wall. It was only the threat of getting a lawyer involved that made them dig a better drainage trench and clean my carpeting.
5). Allegedly "fixed" sink continued to leak unnoticed until next repair was needed, and warped cupboards discovered.
6). Bathroom ceiling leaking AGAIN, and I fear the ceiling may fall into the room one day from moisture captured.
THE ONLY REASON I live here is that they accept two pets. Although I pick up after my dog, 99.5 percent of the other residents don't. Ergo, dog crap everywhere; and other owners who don't give a crap about their vicious animals being off leash. I have gotten absolutely NO help from management in enforcing pet rules.
Noisy, rude, criminal neighbors are not ejected as they should be. This is not a place to live if you are a quiet person, a professional or have anything nice worth preserving.
