Mgmt Im referring to=those 2 who run it upfront and the name of one is stated in other reviews..

Mgmt has been nothing but extremely unhelpful and I approach them sensible and nice.. and still very unhelpful and they act like its their 1st day working there. I am talking with my lawyer for advise regarding all situations with them. I hate to get a lawyer involved but they totally cooked this situation up with full force. Im sick of the lies, constant lies and no help esp with general things landlords should do!
A total pain to deal with!

1) I go to inquire about moving in 2 weeks before actually moving in.. The girl at the desk (seriously I think thats the best title for her) said I had to leave a deposit as they could only guarantee it would be available for me once I complete my app. I left a deposit for over the necessary amount as they did not have any change at the time, promising to reimburse me as I had my receipt- which looked official as if it came from an office supply store.

2) Later on, once I move in..I see about 4-5 empty apts as I moved in on day 1, having me think the apts were full except for 1 apt. I felt this couldnt be true but thats what the girl said or was told to lie about.

3) The mgmt knew 2 weeks before I moved in, that I planned on moving in and they promised me it would be ready by the time I moved in. Oh my gawd, the day before I moved in- nothing was done except the painting of the walls. What needed to be done is a long laundry list of things! They had 2 weeks to get it done, besides the mgmt said it would be ready in 2 days!! Major lie! The day I moved in, the mgmt decided to take a look at the place.. I will give them credit for that one but why was this their 1st time to view the apt b4 renting it out to someone'' Thats just not a very efficient or good mgmt pratice. We noticed a ton of things, her more than me as this is my 1st time moving there. She may of hushed up about the 10 major things I happened to write down on the MOVE-IN inventory check sheet. I will admit, they did some nice things for the place..but they wouldnt repair some common things as of why I am seeking outside advisement before communicating with them again, hint.

No repair for: the missing light fixture in 2 rooms including the bedroom! The none working phone jack! The shower head that wont stay in! The windows that dont lock! The crazy A/C that turns on, on the wrong listed labels and takes 30 mins to finally crank in! The half an inch crack at the top of the door, so yeah it doesnt fully shut-- nice!! Half of the apt plug-ins do not work! I have no screens on my windows either-- awesome! I saw 4 roaches on day 2 living there! The wooden planks to walk on outside the upstairs apts, oh my gosh 4 planks were super loose! I felt afraid I was going to fall and kill myself!

Another thing, the place is overall okay in appearance on the outside but they are letting this place slip deep down in the cracks! IT doesnt have to be this way!!

1) Nice location minus the 2 college apts next door (rowdy and a tiny bit scary)
2) Nice looking on the outside - needs a serious paint job on the outside. The paint is fading and I see a lot of junk cars just sitting-- as if they do not run. I know someone may not have the money to fix it--but these are 80s looking cars, faded in color and just sitting on a flat...doesnt look too appealing for showing apts to interested potential tenants.
3) The girl at the desk (new girl) never smiles. It wouldnt be so bad if she had a nice or cool person personality/demeanor. Shes dry and treated me like I was crap until she read over my application. Oh can you say ignorance to the fullest!
4) I had a receipt of payment given to me by freaking Westchester Square Apts! And the mgmt acted like they had no clue what I was talking about and I even brought it with me--talked to them in a calm, decent and respectable, clarifying manner. They still looked at me like I was speaking chinese. I had never experience such a poor business conversation in many moons! They pretended to completely forget that they wrote me the receipt on their own receipt paper! OMG, I was completely dumbfounded!! I learned a BIG HUGE lesson that day: never give a business cash over $20 esp a fragmented industry business of apt renting and more so Westchester Square Apts in Wacky Waco!

I am sooooooooooo out of here when my lease is up! I cant take the dumbness and lack of general understanding and care of tenants! I swear I was in a bad dream but nope just Westchester.

Oh and one more creepy thing! The creepy maintenance crew and mgmt live in the apts!! How scary is that'

Yeah. Sad. Make your life easy and look elsewhere until the mgmt changes- at least.
