So, I lived there for five years. UNFORTUNATELY!!! I liked the apartments okay. Nice size for the money, but all the needless hoops you have to go through for every little thing is nonsense.
Like I said, I was a long-time tenant. When I moved out, I received a bill for $2000 for cleaning. Sandy said my pet urinated all over the carpet and that I didn't clean. Completely untrue on both accounts. I wanted my deposit back, so I splurged on a cleaning service (who did a wonderful job, by the way). Also, I had a newborn baby at the time. I wouldn't tolerate an animal defecating and urinating around my baby. That's unhealthy.
But, maybe that's the way they do things at Westchester. Oh, that was low. But, I don't care.
Do yourself a favor and don't move here. You may save money, but you'll have to turn around and spend it on medicine for the headache of living here.

Funny that you mentioned this. I had the same thing happen to me. My dog was 100% potty trained and the manager lady tried to charge me for it to. I think they just take advantage of people who have pets because they know they can. Sorry to hear that it happened to you to.

The manager at my old apartment did this too except didn't send me the bill just sent it to collections. Is telling people how horrible my carpet was and how she couldn't understand how we could live there. Even the Texas Apartment Association lady said since I allowed my pet to urinate all over the carpet I was responsible for it. Excuse me she never saw my apartment and there were stains from where it was cleaned but didn't all come out. Grrrrrrr. I hate to say it but sometimes it just isn't worth having a pet with an apartment but I wasn't about to get rid of my pets.
