1) The apts are roomy and fixed up well on the inside for what it's worth. Insulation was horrible, absolutely horrible. The outside look could be better with a touch up. When the lawn is finally mowed, they leave grass and weed edged out dirt all on the sidewalks - it's like leaving a mess after baking a cake and failing to clean it up. I smelled mold and A/C was so worn out. Check out the mini DUMP behind the office with a diseased pool. The neighboring apts are filled with immature, squirrely and stupid partying type college kids creating an animal house - which luckily these apts dont have much of... It's a cute place in a unique setting kinda but it's going downhill fast with this MANAGEMENT!

2) Manager lady seems nice but there's just something about her that I can't place my finger on that gave me the CREEPS!!

3) The staff there sucked, everyone was either new or just seemed really sly and unhelpful. Watch your money, keep a paper trail!! I will make sure to let everyone know how I was treated by the staff. I shouldnt have to make a show of my stay at my past apts! And yes! My audience laughs every time in disbelief!

4) Manager's daughter seemed like a druggie or just a real low-life as someone mentioned earlier in the reviews. She did seem to hang around a bunch of low-life type people and had them around the apartments late at night. I never felt that safe outside a night. It was so dark, not much lighting. I did in fact see questionable people at night often - druggie, wild type mostly. Be careful driving in the parking lot - people turn the corner burning rubber. There should be stop bumps somewhere.

3) About 30% of the renters gave me the creeps along with the crowd they brought and how they were outside too much (mostly drinking, tattoo'ed up and I hate to say this but they also had P.O.S. cars)- trashy. It makes me wonder if background checks are ever carefully done or done at all.

4) Try to get your fedex/ups/big mail delivered to your work or elsewhere because they will never notify you if you have mail there. Once I got a xmas gift from a friend out of state and I never knew about it until they called a month later thinking I never got it and I didnt!

5) These apts have potential but needs NEW MANAGEMENT! No more 2 yr olds please! A management that knows no one in central texas - doesnt hire their runned down family/friends who have no clue and dont care because mommy is manager kinda b.s., is more responsible, helpful, changes the locks, CLEAN WELL/SPRAY FOR ALL THOSE ROACHES I HAD TROUBLE WITH WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN and provides new toliet seats for new renters and RUNS official criminal background checks on ALL renters - ones with no blank stares and not finding a way to say no rather than LISTEN/REASON IT OUT/TAKE ACTION, and doesnt disrespect you by telling plain lies as if you're stupid as they ARE. They should provide for renters the way they do for their trashy kin there too.

I was so happy to leave but my stay was so-so, can't say it was a complete nightmare but many improvements needed. It's a sure place for the elderly if they must be apartmented and young/single. Be a little weary of a 35 yr old plus couple moving in forever- usually got mad issues. I know Im ranting here but it's from the horses mouth.

1 last note for upstairs living folks - do not fall for the 1 bdrm with a studio con stuff. It's a tiny closet corner with no LIGHT fixture and the A/C is far away from it. They will charge you extra for this'' Dont think so. Oh yeah, there's no LIGHT fixture in your room either. They acted like it was the norm and acceptable when I questioned it. Sorry but this is America in 2008, I'd like a light fixture in my room please, along with a door and all the other regular things.
